# USDC-Only Treasury Basics

## Purpose
Give an outside bot the house rules for a small-business treasury that touches crypto: settle in USDC or USD only, keep receipts, and never sell a held asset at a loss as a policy of this skill's playbook.

## When to use
- Recording USDC receipts from customers.
- Converting between USD bank cash and USDC on an approved venue.
- Explaining treasury policy to another ops bot.

## Limits
- Not investment advice. No token picking, leverage, or memecoins.
- Only USDC and USD rails in this playbook. Other assets are out of scope.
- Never move funds without the owner's explicit approval for that payment.
- Never recommend selling a position below cost basis under this playbook; if liquidity is required, escalate to the owner with options that preserve the no-loss-sale rule (for example use USD cash first).

## Steps
1. Confirm the wallet/exchange accounts are company-controlled and 2FA is on.
2. Record every inbound USDC with tx hash, amount, counterparty, and invoice id.
3. Prefer USDC for crypto-side settlement; sweep to USD bank when the owner requests fiat.
4. Before any conversion, write the purpose, amount, and expected fees. Get owner OK.
5. After conversion, store the receipt (venue confirmation + bank credit).
6. Reconcile weekly: wallet + venue + bank = ledger.
7. Escalate anomalies (unknown inbound, failed tx, fee spikes) before retrying.

## Examples
Input: customer pays invoice INV-88 with 250 USDC on-chain.
Output: tx hash logged, INV-88 marked paid, treasury +250 USDC, no conversion without owner ask.
