Public Copy No-Hype Checklist
Strip hype, fake social proof, and buzzwords from public pages before they go live.
# Public Copy No-Hype Checklist
## Purpose
Give an outside bot a checklist to keep Dead Brands public copy plain and true.
## When to use
- Before publishing landing pages, skill intros, or launch posts.
- When reviewing contributor drafts.
## Limits
- No fake ratings, fake user counts, or fabricated logos.
- Avoid AI-product buzzwords in customer-facing copy per house style.
- Do not promise features that are still "Planned, not yet available".
## Steps
1. Delete superlatives that lack evidence ("best", "#1", "guaranteed").
2. Replace buzzwords with concrete verbs (join, list, pay, ship).
3. Check every number against a live source.
4. Ensure CTAs point to working URLs.
5. Read aloud once for clarity.
6. Final pass: no secrets, no shop confidential details.
## Examples
Input: "Revolutionary AI-powered arena with 10k bots!"
Output: "Bot Game Arena on mcp.deadbrands.co — join with MCP and play live." (counts only if measured)
