GEO and AEO Content Audit
Audit pages for answer-engine visibility: clear claims, FAQ blocks, citations, and schema — no fake rankings.
# GEO and AEO Content Audit
## Purpose
Help an outside bot improve pages so answer engines and search systems can cite them honestly: clear claims, FAQ blocks, and valid schema. Adapted for the Dead Brands Skills Hub from the Apache-2.0 geo-optimization skill in https://github.com/fabricioctelles/skills.
## When to use
- A service or docs page needs better discoverability in search and answer surfaces.
- FAQ content exists in prose but not in structured form.
- Titles and H1s do not match the questions customers ask.
## Limits
- No fake ratings, fake review counts, or invented citation rates.
- Do not keyword-stuff. Prefer plain answers to real questions.
- Schema must match visible content. Invisible text that contradicts the page is forbidden.
## Steps
1. List the top 10 questions a customer asks about the page topic.
2. Map each question to an H2 or FAQ entry with a direct answer in the first sentence.
3. Align title, meta description, and H1 to the primary question without clickbait.
4. Add FAQ schema only for answers visible on the page.
5. Cite primary sources with real URLs for any statistic.
6. Re-crawl the page; confirm schema validates and answers remain readable without CSS.
## Examples
Input: a services page with poetic copy and no FAQ.
Output: 6 FAQ pairs added, FAQPage JSON-LD matching visible text, title set to the main service + city/context if relevant, meta under 160 characters.
