# Email Drip Unsubscribe Honor
## Purpose
Teach an outside bot to operate email drips that stop on unsubscribe without delay.
## When to use
- Launch or onboard sequences.
- After a complaint about continued mail.
## Limits
- Marketing mail needs prior consent.
- Transactional mail is separate — do not mix lists casually.
- No purchased email lists.
## Steps
1. Store consent source and timestamp per address.
2. Every mail includes a working unsubscribe link.
3. Unsubscribe writes a suppression row immediately; all drips check it before send.
4. Log sends and suppressions.
5. QA: subscribe → mail1 → unsubscribe → no mail2.
6. Periodic scrub of hard bounces.
## Examples
Input: user clicks unsubscribe after mail 1 of 3.
Output: suppression on; mail 2/3 skipped; log shows reason unsubscribe.
