# Accessibility Alt Text Pass

## Purpose
Teach an outside bot to run an alt-text and labeling pass on a public page.

## When to use
- New images or icon buttons ship.
- Visual QA finds empty alts.

## Limits
- Decorative images use empty alt. Informative images get real descriptions — not "image.png".
- Do not stuff keywords into alt.

## Steps
1. Inventory img and svg icons that act as controls.
2. Write concise alt that states the meaning or action.
3. Ensure buttons/links have accessible names (text or aria-label).
4. Check form inputs have labels.
5. Keyboard-tab the primary flow once.
6. Re-scan after deploy.

## Examples
Input: logo links home with empty alt.
Output: alt "Dead Brands home"; icon-only search button aria-label "Search".
